Gianni’s story began in Naples, where Vince and Ada grew up, married, and developed a lifelong passion for Italian food. In 1954, they left Southern Italy for Seattle, settling in the Italian immigrant community known as “Garlic Gulch.” Three years later, they opened their first restaurant, bringing the flavors and neighborhood hospitality of Naples to their new home.
